This series of electromagnetic separator is designed for ports, power plants, mines and other high temperature, high dust, high humidity and other harsh industrial environments designed for advanced iron removal equipment. Equipment integrated intelligent control system, with multiple electrical protection and real-time monitoring functions, support for remote centralized control and local operation of dual-mode, to solve the traditional iron remover in complex working conditions, poor reliability, maintenance of the core pain points, for the modern industrial conveyor system to provide a stable, efficient and intelligent solution for the removal of iron impurities.

2. Intelligent monitoring and alarm system

  • Quadruple instrument display: power supply voltage, excitation voltage, excitation current, equipment working status.

  • Triple alarm protection:

    • Excitation overload alarm (J4 relay action)

    • Cooling fan failure alarm (J9/J10 relay action)

    • Coil overcurrent alarm (GL relay action, threshold adjustable)


Multiple safety protection mechanisms

1. Main excitation circuit protection

  • Loss-of-voltage protection: J1/J2/J3 relay group monitoring, automatic cut-off in case of abnormal voltage.

  • Phase loss protection: automatically detect and cut off the faulty phase to prevent rectifier module damage.

  • DC undervoltage/overcurrent protection: J4 relay monitors the excitation circuit, GL relay provides adjustable overcurrent protection.

2. Cooling system protection

  • Delayed shutdown: SJ1 time relay controls the fan to continue to run for 5-30 minutes (adjustable) after shutdown to fully cool down the coil.

  • Failure interlocking: If any cooling fan is abnormal, the system will automatically interlock and cut off the main circuit to prevent the coil from overheating.

  • Thermal relay protection: the fan motor has a built-in overheating protection element.

Operation and Maintenance Guide

  • Daily inspection (monthly)

    • Clean the control cabinet cooling filter.

    • Check the status of each relay contact for burn marks.

    • Record meter readings and compare with initial values.

  • Periodic Maintenance (Quarterly/Annual)

    • Test coil-to-ground insulation resistance quarterly.

    • Lubricate or replace cooling fan bearings annually.

    • Calibrate protective relay (GL, SJ1, etc.) action values every two years.

  • Troubleshooting

    • Quickly locate the problem according to the control panel LED fault code.

    • Adopt modularized design, spare relay and rectifier module support quick hot-swap replacement, greatly shorten the downtime.
