Centrifugal concentrator is a high-tech equipment that utilizes the principle of centrifugal force to strengthen the gravity separation process, representing the advanced level of current gravity separation technology. The core of the machine generates a powerful centrifugal force field through a high-speed rotating conical enrichment cone, which enables the efficient recovery of micro-fine grained heavy minerals (e.g. gold, tungsten, tin, etc.). This equipment is especially good at capturing the micro-fine grained monomer gold that is easily lost in traditional re-election equipment (such as chute and jigger), with a recovery rate of more than 99% and an enrichment ratio as high as 1,000 times, which makes it an ideal alternative to amalgamation for gold extraction and realizes environmentally friendly gold extraction, and it is widely used in the reclaiming of rock gold mines, alluvial gold mines and tailings resources.
The slurry is fed into the bottom of the high-speed rotating enrichment cone from the upper part. Under the action of strong centrifugal force, the mineral particles are thrown to the grooves (ribs) of the cone wall.
Heavy mineral particles (e.g. gold): the centrifugal force is so strong that they can overcome the resistance of the backwash water sprayed outwards from the grooves, and settle and concentrate in the grooves to form a concentrate layer.
Light mineral particles, which are subject to less centrifugal force and cannot resist the scouring force of the backwash water, are carried out of the groove by the water flow and are discharged with the upward water flow from the upper end of the enrichment cone as tailings.
The concentrate is discharged at regular intervals through the innovative automatic discharge system, realizing the automation and closed operation of the whole process.
