Hammer Crusher Overview
Hammer crusher is a kind of equipment that utilizes high-speed rotating hammer head to impact, collision, shearing and grinding on materials to realize crushing. It has the remarkable features of simple structure, large crushing ratio (up to 10-25), high production efficiency, and can be used in both dry and wet operation forms.
Ring hammer crusher is widely used in mining, cement, coal, metallurgy, building materials, highway, combustion chemical and other industries for medium and fine crushing of medium hardness and brittle materials. By adjusting the gap of the lower castor, the discharge size can be flexibly changed to meet the diversified needs of different users.
Hammer crusher working principle
The electric motor drives the rotor to rotate at high speed in the crushing chamber. After the material enters the machine from the upper feeding port, it is immediately crushed by the combined effects of striking, impacting, shearing and grinding of the high-speed hammer head.
In the lower part of the rotor, there is a sieve plate (castor). In the crushed material, particles smaller than the size of the screen hole are discharged through the gap of the screen plate under the action of the hammer head and become qualified products; coarse particles larger than the size of the screen hole are blocked on the screen plate, and continue to be struck by the hammer head repeatedly and grinding, until they are finally crushed and discharged through the screen plate.
Applicable materials and scope

Applicable materials: medium hard and brittle materials with compressive strength not exceeding 100MPa and water content less than 15%.

Typical materials: coal, salt, chalk, gypsum, masonry, limestone and so on.

Special application: It can also be used for crushing materials with strong fiber structure, elasticity and toughness, such as broken wood, paper, or recycling asbestos fibers from asbestos cement waste.

Application production line: It can be used not only in crushing production line and sand making production line, but also can replace cone crusher in mineral processing production line.
